I wanted to create a modern take on remote travel while designing the Cedar Pass Lodge brand. I built the brand around the dramatic and rich paleontology landscapes, timeless night skies, living cultural heritage, and legacy of hospitality. The geometric shapes mirror the sharp edges of the Badlands and the outlines iconography draws inspiration from the fossils.

I leaned into something slightly unexpected for the color palette. I pulled deep blues from the night sky and purples from the rock formations at dusk, creating a moody and elevated feel.
